The main goals of the Canadian Robotics Strategy group are to:
Lead the development of a national robotics strategy for Canada that builds on our national strengths and is uniquely tailored to address Canada’s economic, social, and educational needs and values.
Facilitate networking among robotics stakeholders across the country, including: startups, researchers, robotic product and service providers, industry end-users, investors, and the provincial and federal governments, as well as representatives from education, economics, policy, law, and news media who work at the intersection of robotics innovation.
Conduct fact-finding and research that is relevant to the Canadian robotics ecosystem, for example, mapping the Canadian robotics ecosystem, tracking its development, identifying community needs, and reporting back to the community on important trends and issues.
Enhance the reputation of the Canadian robotics ecosystem, both at home and globally.
Join us in Vancouver this September 28th and 29th for a two-day NSERC-sponsored robotics strategy event where you will learn about best practices in designing robotics roadmaps from international experts, and help kickstart a national strategy for robotics in Canada.
